About Me
I was born in South London and lived in the north, east and central areas until I finally left the Big Smoke in 2001.
I now live in the village of Ditchling near Brighton. I have a wife (Catherine), two children (Zoe and Evan) and a dog called Tess.
I studied Electronic Engineering at Imperial College London. I then worked in the IT and media industries, the last 12 or so years as a software designer, initially for a the Warner Music record company but for the last seven years or so, mainly in commercial Java-based “enterprise” systems.
If that sounds boring then you’re right – I agree. Hence I have finally been dragged back to university to take a Masters in Artificial Intelligence at the large AI faculty Sussex University – which bizarrely happens to be the nearest higher education site of any kind to my home.
